Getting lately moved from a place to an apartment, a single from the things I had to give up was my grill! With a large porch it was effortless to accommodate a big free-standing cooker, but now I was finding the full-sized grill was just not going to work out on my modest apartment's patio.
Not wanting to give up my Saturday afternoons poking at some burgers I decided downsizing was my most effective option. Right after learning how simple it was to use, I picked up the Weber Q100 and I have yet to be disappointed!
Weber Q 100
First, lighting my new Weber was a cinch! The Weber Q100 push button ignition creates acquiring the grill going a smaller amount of a chore. Its wide stand makes it simple to sit on the ground or on a table. I think I will be investing in a single with the Weber Q Rolling Carts next. The grill and lid are each constructed from heavy-duty cast aluminum having a sturdy glass reinforced nylon frame. The grill operates over a frequent 14.1 or 16.4oz propane cylinder (not included but which I already had) and so far has been very efficient in regards to fuel consumption.
Let's get for the juicy stuff, literally! My popular component on the Weber Q 100 - the cooking grates! The grates are porcelain-enameled cast-iron wonders within the heavens! The spacious cooking surface (something like 190 inches) is large sufficient to effortlessly accommodate roughly six 1/3lb burgers, any more and flipping them takes some finesse.
The cooking grate gets hot sufficient to barbeque grill a 1.25" Rib-eye to mouth-watering excellence! The porcelain like finish keeps meals from sticking whilst letting any unwanted grease to fall soundly to the Weber's simply removable drip pan.
My Weber Q100 isn't all a barrel of perfection! (We had our moments..) My only actual complaint is that in case you are cooking anything that has a lot of run off, the holes within the burner can begin to clog.
Trading in my large free-standing grill for one thing that's supposed to sit atop my table and 'warm' my steak was hard. Fortunately I believe I got essentially the most bang for my buck in the Weber Q100! This lightweight powerhouse knocked my socks off.
